GSM COMPETENCIES:
 Frequency planning for new site and existing sites.
 Responsible for KPI (SD block, TCH blocking, TCH drop, HOSR, Rx Quality).
 Monitoring the handover performance between cells (Incoming / Outgoing HO) and
Parameter side also.
 Customer complaints handling and co-ordination.
 Involved in HOSR and CDR analysis in physical level and parameter level.

 GPRS and EDGE Time slot congestion and Addition.
 Frequency planning for baseband and synthesizer hopping.
 Responsible for BCCH, TCH, MAIO, HSN, Neighbor, LAC, interface planning.

  Drive test analysis with Rx level, Rx quality, Interference by Frequencies, Timeslot, EDGE,
GPRS. Ping-Pong Handover, Mute call, Time slot verification.
 Planning new and modifying existing network configurations and sites.
 Post processing of GSM drives Logs and layer 3 analyses.

3G:

 Verifying soft handover, and 3G to 2G IRAT cell reselection, and 2G to 3G IRAT cell reselection.
 Testing voice, video call & HSDPA speed.
 Finding the best possible configuration for antenna heights, tilts and azimuths for all the cells/sectors in
the network and responsible for optimization of the network.
 Trouble shooting and resolving issues like call drop, handover failure & call block.
 Data Drive and SCFT Drive.
i. To check particular site HSDPA (Data drive 3G) enabled or not.
ii. To Check working or not and Check Up link (HSUPA) and down link (HSDPA) and
R99-Speed for that particular Network.
iii. Optimized all sites within the cluster and check KPI value.
CDMA:

  Verifying serving PN and RFER, Receiving power & Handover.
 Responsible for RFER and call drop.
 Tool used for drive testing – CNT.
 Tools used for drive analysis – CNA.
 Responsible for data throughput.

Optimization Profile:

 Running Predictions based on the Dense Urban or Urban or Sub Urban which requires by the

Customer.

 Neighbors planning for sites Using Planning Tool.

 SCFT Reports Verifying, Cluster Drive Reports Verifying for GSM / CDMA.
 After Verifying Cluster Drive Plot reports and if bad then will plan for Optimization sites to improve

the Rx level and Rx quality and DL Throughput.
