2. THE INTRODUCTION

After being founded as a Society under the Societies Registration Act

of 1860 in the year 2009, we embarked on our purpose of creating and
imparting education in a solemn way by starting a Public School up to
12th standard equipped with all modern public school facilities – which
has made a dent in the region as a remarkable public institution
arraying and attracting public attention and need, duly reflected in our
assiduous efforts. A brief look into our targets goes to justify it.

 As a humble beginning with approximate 1000 students the

number is bound to grow in leaps and bounds. The school shall
have modern laboratories, audio visual medium of education
along with Horse riding, Swimming Pool, Sports Academy.

 We shall have highly educated professional teachers and shall

have the entire modern equipment, facilities ensuring an
educational environment.

 We shall strive to attain meaningful fusion of traditional Indian

Knowledge and Western Research with the help of latest learning
techniques.

 We shall strive to give excellent results.

3. THE NEED & JUSTIFICATION

The economy of a country consists primarily of three sectors –

agriculture, manufacturing and services. Education is a key element of
the infrastructure required to develop all the three sectors of the
economy. In particular, Basic education is certainly a key element of
the shaping of the emerging knowledge economy. Education is the key
for awakening in India and any country. Education is the root for
tomorrow's tree. Education has the power to transcend all barriers of
country, religion, language, caste, creed, rich & poor. Education
provides direction to the individual, society and the country as a whole.
Education is a never ending process. Formal education may complete
after 15-16 years of school or college education, but education as a
whole continues forever. At every step of life, there is an education,
not just a lesson. India is a developing country, and in the last decade
this development has accelerated by 10-15 percent. This is purely
down to progress in the field of Education. The increased rate of
educated youth are able to undertake diverse skills and specialized in
it. Today, India provides services of innumerable kind to all countries in
the world. This is evident from the fact that Indians work in every
country on this planet. The demand for Indian brains is increasing. This
might result in brain drain but this brings a increased flow of foreign
exchange to the economy. When we chart of this progression
backwards, we reach to a point where a sound education structure is
the cause. Education is a vital lifeline for India's surge in the world. It is
necessary to invest in good quality manpower if India has to seize the
emerging opportunity and ensure a rate of growth of about 9 to 10 per
cent.

The Primary education system in India is the largest in the world. It

comprises of about 600,000 primary, 150,000 upper primary, and
70,000 secondary and higher secondary schools. These institutions
taken together had an enrolment of more than 150 million students
and employ about 4 million teachers. For such a large system, there is
a need for additional schools of excellence. The Suryansh Educational
Research Training Society has, therefore, proposed to set up a school
initially up to 8th standard in Moradabad, UP. The main objective of the
trust is to provide basic education to all children belongs to each and
every section of the society.
The proposed school will be setup under Society Act, 1860.The school
will be setup within a period of 9 month with total outlay Rs. 4.36
` 5
crores. The School will have from KG to 8th standard class including a
library initially, later on the school will be upgraded y up to 12th
standard and the enrolment of the student shall be increased . The
capacity of each class shall be 50 students. The teacher strength shall
be 26 and supporting staff strength shall be 19 at present.

The proposed school i.e. “Suryansh Public School” shall follow the
syllabus of NCERT in English medium and will be affiliated to Central
Board Of Secondary Education.

“SURYANSH PUBLIC SCHOOL” is located at a distance of 3 km from the

main city of Moradabad. The total population of the Moradabad district
approximates to be more than 4.8 million. The increases in the size of
zonal population in the district where the proposed school is located
and the rapidly growing number of the city’s population has caused the
increase in the demand of social services such as education. The
proposed school has plan of preparing thousands of students for
secondary education in different technical and vocational
specialization. The total number of students in Moradabad in the years
2006-07 and 2007-08 were 9.56 lacs & 10.33 lacs respectively.
However the number of recognized school in the Districts in 2006-07
and 2007-08 are 2645 and 2673 respectively. Out of above mentioned
school, lots of school is having problems of good infrastructure
justifying to open an ultra modern school having all world class facilities
in the city.

5. THE FUTURE
The School shall evolve as a premier educational institution of
Moradabad attracting the students from all parts of the country
imparting education upto 12th standard.

6. THE PURPOSE
This will naturally fulfill the purpose of a total education as envisioned
by our great Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore who has rightly captioned
it as “True education means-harmonious development of body, mind
and soul together.” Such an education only, according to us, aims at
making students not like STUDIOUS BOOK WORMS but gives a student
healthy mind in a healthy body which can be obtained only by
exercise, field sports and meditation incorporated in our scheme of
gifted education. Only such education focuses and possesses that
youth, who come out sound fit in life, fully qualified to start on his own
and share any sort of undertaking. This is and can be the only holistic
approach towards the achievement of a brave new world of ours-which
is in waiting for us. It can only be an overall solution to the impending
and bickering human problems being faced by the human race until
date. There is no other way out than to be holistic – within and without
holism is not only the content of life but is also the way of living too.

This is the only capable way to insure a good, perfect and quality
education.

7. THE RESERVATION
In a developing society, reservation is the order of the day. The poor
and the helpless cannot be overlooked. Hence, the reservation. Our
democracy can only sustain when we do for the poorest among the
poor. We shall be observing this cardinal policy be keeping 10%
reservation for the poor and deserving students free of cost. This will
` 12
certainly be the social content of our endeavor. We shall be
stressing on it without fail.

8. THE ORGANISATION
We are a duly registered Society registered under Society Registration
Act 1860 having registered office at A 1/66, First floor, Panchsheel
Enclave, New Delhi 110017, vide registration number S/64630/09.

The motto of the Society is SERVICE in the field of Education, which is

our only core concern without a division of our activity.

As a society, we have gained vast experience and knowledge both to

run a society and a school at the same time.

Sh. Vinod Kumar Sharma, is a 45 years old visionary, prudential and

distinguished luminary in the world of education . He is gold
medalist post graduate in Law and Social sciences from University Of
Delhi, having vast experiences of 20 years in various Legal ,
Administrative and managerial public and private organizations.
Presently, he heads the Society as its President and is looking after the
affairs of the Society. Educationist, professionals and advocates are
ably assisting him. He is the main person behind our avowed motto
“Service to Society by spreading Education amongst the Masses.”He
hails from a family of Landlords who have also excelled in the field of
education. Late Sh. R.S. Sharma, Father of Sh. Vinod Kumar Sharma,
was himself a far sighted seer who served as a Deputy Education
Officer in The Government Of Delhi. He undertook many new
innovative steps during his tenure of service and worked untiredly for
the cause of education. We have the judgment and wisdom to recruit
Administrators, Directors as well as Principal and Teachers of the
school and to man it by appropriate Technical Staffs.

9. THE PROSPECTIVE
School Education to the level of 12th has been traditionally granted a
priority status in the making of a society and nation as a whole as well
as for competing in the global scenario as warranted today. More so,
now education in the new millennium is closely integrated with the
` 13
global growth in the field of information technology and
learning. We have to shape education afresh, as is our policy, to keep
pace with the international norms and standards in the matter. Any
lapse in this sector of life will be disastrous for all outcomes.

In this very set-up, we are here to show the way. We are a

revolutionary movement with an educational orientation in our region.
For us imparting education is a religion – a matter of faith in basic
human progress. We are not experimenting-we are doing and
delivering it. Our thoughts and actions are in harmony, creating
education as a life force in the are- which is tangible and transparent.
It is holistic-not a piecemeal approach because only wholesome
strategies succeed. We are fully in tune with it. This is what is denoted
in our very name and style. Education and advanced learning is not
only a means for us –it is also our goal as such, towards which we
aspire to proceed constantly. We also intend to provide Hostel
Facilities for the deserving students.

10. THE MOVEMENT

We have to shape our movement in this direction. We have not to fail
in acknowledging the existing systems of knowledge. The solutions
that do work in the long term and those that address the roots of the
problem have to be adhered to adopted and accepted. Naturally, this
calls for our immediate involvement at all levies of growth and
shaping. This can only take place when we are aware enough and that
` 14
awareness comes about through a shared learning and participating
responsibility which is process. We have resolved to create such a
process as and when participating parties and persons recognize each
other’s potential for making a valuable contribution to the cause of
education and society at large. Once such a beginning is unshared in, a
momentum will be generated, with its own dynamic qualities.

11. THE DIMENSION

Public School education does not mean a sluggish approach of
obtaining degrees or sheer profiteering. Both are extremes. Paving a
middle path is the call and need of the hour. An educational institution
should not smell as a formal school and college for merely producing
numbers and making normal careers but it should be a beacon light
amidst a gloom installed as anarchy these days. It should not produce
modernists and criminals as it is doing presently. It should produce
crusaders who fulfill the needs of the nation and could realize the
national dream dedicated soldiers of society with a mission and vision,
talented youths those can compete in this new era of global
interaction. Such effective education only can deliver goods within the
framework of the needs of the modern times that is the new
millennium.

13. THE THRUST

Such a School will cater to the educational needs up to +2 levels from
various sectors of the society. Such an arrangement in campus is
bound to invite students from all over the country and from abroad
(especially the Asian countries) who are framing the life-education on
these patterns. This will serve the new growing need of the developing
` 15
masses where a non-competition will throw them out of the modern
race forever.

Such is our new and model conception, which has reflected itself in
our resolutions and preparedness to have a School of the above type.
The base for it is already with us.

14. THE EXPANSION

With this end in view only-based on facts and recommendations our
support plan seeks to accommodate 1500 students. The School will
have common recreational avenues like Table Tennis, Billiards Courts,
Swimming Pool, Health Club, Medical Check-up, Center and an
Auditorium for the overall development of Art and Culture for infusing
such traits in the students. Such a unique projection in the educational
field will be and is apt to be a model in Moradabad City, as there is no
such School in the area-blended uniformly and harmoniously for full
education of wards at a place from where they emerge and come out
as full-fledged citizens.
