INDIA

“You either love it or hate it”

India is an extremerly interesting country in South Asia. It’s a too crowded place,
being the second most populated country in the world with a territorial extensión of
3 287 263km2. In development, too dirty and too noisy this country offers in turn
incomparable beauty and the power to transform the mind of everyone who comes
to do it.
The language spoken by the natives is Hindi, although many also speak English.
Weather

India has some very diverse weather conditions. It has some of the hottest places in
the world, it has the second coldest place in the planet, the rainiest place on earth
and maybe some of the driest in the world.

beautiful and happy dances. And the Indian women dress beautiful dresses called
“saris”.
India has many very curious customs for us, for example:

 For them the way to move their heads to say "no" is different, they move it in
the sense of what we know as "yes".
 The cow is a sacred animal and it is forbidden to sacrifice them.
 The Ganges river is also considered sacred and that is why in the city of
Varanasi, you can see how the Hindus burn their deceased on the banks of
it and then throw what remains of the body and its ashes into the river. As
well as taking a bath in it is considered a purifier of sins.
 Most marriages are arranged by the families of the couple, between people
of the same caste, and of similar social and economic level.
 Rats are considered as "reincarnations", and it is said that you will be lucky
(or bad luck for those of us who have a phobia) if you see a white one or pass
you over the foot.
 The man of India are often curiously affectionate among them, even you can
see men holding hands or hugging on the street. But You do not worry, you
should have an open mind and not be scared by everything you see there

India is a very spiritual and religious country. It’s the holy land of Hinduism,
Buddhism, Yannism and Sikhism. And It is the third country with the largest number
of Muslims.

If you travel to India and want to visit a temple or sacred place it is important to know
that you can not enter with shoes. If you are afraid of being robbed, you can load it
with a plastic bag and put it in your backpack. It is also a good idea to carry a pair of
socks so you do not walk completely barefoot. If you are a woman, you shouldn´t
enter with your shoulders uncovered.
India is too poor a place. You are walking down the street you will see some disabled
or poor people asking for money on one side, turn to the other and you will see a
great Hindu temple full of luxuries. That is why you should be careful with the people
and children who ask for alms because if you do it, then you will have a whole crowd
behind you

If we Mexicans are ingenious, creative and happy, the Indians believe that they give
