Bismillahir rahmanir In the Name of Allah, the Universally Merciful,
rahim the Exclusive Lover

allahumma ya hayyu, ya qayyumu O Allah, O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting,

laka usalli, wa laka iasum to You I pray and I fast,
wa bika aqulu, wa bika akum and for You I sit and I stand

ahyi bim'ari fatika qalbi Give life to my heart with knowledge of You
wagfir li bifadlika zambi and forgive my sins through Your Grace

innahu la yagfiruz-zunuba illa anta Indeed, none forgives sins but You

allahumma innaka nazirun ilayya O Allah, truly You Watch over me,
hazirun ladayya qadirun alayya are Present with me, having Power over me

ahatta bi ilman wa saman wa basaran Place upon me knowledge, hearing and sight

farjuqni unsan bika, wa haybat minka, Grant me intimacy with You, awe of You,
wa qawwi fika yaqini and strengthen my certainty of You

wa bika a'tatamtu Through You I am protected,

fa aslih li fi dini so make me adhere properly to my religion

wa alayka tawakkaltu In You I have placed my trust,

farjuqni ma yakfini so grant me what suffices me

wa bikaluztu With You I took refuge,

fanajjini mimma yuzini so save me from that which harms me

anta hasbi You are sufficient for me

wa ni'mal wakil and the Best Disposer of affairs

allahumma raddini biqadaa ika O Allah, make me content with Your Decrees
wa qannini biatawik and make me satisfied with Your Gifts

wa alhimni shukra na'maik Inspire me with gratefulness for Your Favors

wajalni min awliyaik and make me one of Your saints

anta awliyuul hamid You are the Protecting Friend and the Praised

allahumma askinni fijiwari ka O Allah, make me dwell in Your Proximity

wa mattani bikhitabika and gratify me with Your Speech

wa inkuntu lastu ahlan lizaalik Although I am not fit for that,

fa anta ahlun lizaalik You are (fit to grant me) that

wa sallillahumma ala sayyidina Bestow Your blessings, O Allah, upon our master
wa mawlana Muhammadin and our liege-lord, Muhammad,
 wa alihi wa sahbihi his Family and Companions,
wa sallim tasliman wa barik and bestow abundant peace and grace

wa sallallahu ala sayyidina Muhammadin May the blessings of Allah be upon our master, Muhammad,
wa alihi wa sahbihi his Family and Companions,
wa sallama taslima and abundant peace.
