 As our terminal in Visakhapatnam is
being readied for a major revamping
project, to ensure continuity of supplies
to the adjoining neighborhoods, which
are currently being fed by Vizag
Terminal, a delivery station on the
pipeline is proposed to be set up at
Atchutapuram. In a phased manner, after
revamping of Visakha Terminal, the
entire setup would decongest the
distribution of petroleum products in and
around Visakhapatnam. As a result
Importance and benefits of the
iii. movement of petroleum products by road
project
would be reduced considerably. This
would result in considerable saving in
consumption of fossil fuel, saving in
logistic cost to Govt. exchequer and
reduce emission / noise pollution by
avoiding movement of petroleum
