I Unseen passage:-
One day, a poor wood cutter goes to cut wood near a river. While cutting
wood, his axe slips from his hand and falls into a river. On losing his axe, the
wood-cutter begins to cry. On hearing his cry, a fairy appears before him with a
golden axe. “Is this axe yours?” She asks. “This is not mine”, replies the wood
cutter. The fairy then dives into the water and appears with a silver axe. “Is this
axe yours?” She asks. “This is not mine”, replies the wood cutter. The fairy
again dives into the water and this time she appears with an iron axe. The wood
cutter becomes very happy to see the axe and tells the fairy that the axe is his.
The fairy becomes very pleased with the wood cutter for his honesty and gives
him the golden and silver axes as a gift along with his iron axe.

The lion and the mouse :

II Unseen passage
Once in a small country people decided to find out what the parents really liked
the most . A Competition, was organized . It would use the latest invention of
professor Crank – Shafte: the Gladometer.To date , The Gladometer was the only
machine that could measure joy and happiness So one by one the children
demonstrated their own particular talents to their parents. The meter faithfully
measured their parents reactions.
One boy turned up with a trained dog, the dog sang and danced, A girl came
and played the violin like an angel , and an intelligent boy came and read his very big
book. The parents happiness was plain to see. Finally, a boy came up carrying nothing
. The organizer asked him, What he was going to do, he simply said “Nothing” but I
am obedient, Then the machine measured such a high reading and vibrated violently
and finally exploded . The boy who had done nothing. Won all the prizes. That day for
solving the mystery of what pleases parents the most .
