Our first question is dealing with the occupation of the people and our survey is
mostly filled by House Mother, Students and other Random Employee’s.

Q2) When purchasing grocery items, do you prefer to
shop from local stores or supermarkets?

ANALYSIS:
Our second question is dealing with the main question. In this question we asked
people when they want to purchase grocery where would they go (Supermarket
or Local Stores) and 91.7% people said that they will prefer Supermarket for
grocery shopping whereas, 8.3% said they will go to local stores.

ANALYSIS:
The third question we asked is about shopping from Supermarkets or Local
markets and 100% people said that they always shop from Supermarkets instead
of local market.

ANALYSIS:
The fourth question we asked is about online shopping and delivery services and
what we have observed was that 66.7% people were in favor of having online
shopping and 33.3% were not in the favor of online shopping.

ANALYSIS:
In the fifth question we asked about different aspects like (Price, Quality and
Comfort) of shopping from Supermarkets and we observed different ratio of
choices in it. 41.7% people said that they prefer supermarket because of quality,
33.3% people said because of comfort and 25% people said because of price.

Q6) What would you do when your favorite
supermarket suddenly posses more taxes over certain
items?

ANALYSIS:

In the sixth question we asked a typical question to the people that what they
would do if supermarket suddenly pose some tax over some regular items and to
this 66.7% people said that they will search another supermarket, 16.7% people
they will still go there and remaining 16.7% said that they will get their option to
go to the local shops.

Q7) What would you do when the supermarket
increases the prices of the major goods (e.g. milk, sugar
etc.)?

ANALYSIS:
In the seventh question we asked about what they would prefer if the
supermarket increases the prices of major goods and to this we observed a very
clear ratio that 50% people said they go for another supermarket, 33.3% people
said they will that good from some local place and 16.7% said that they will
purchase the same good from the same supermarket.

ANALYSIS:
In the eighth question we asked about the income of the people, 41.7% have their
income 90K-above, 25% have their between 50K-60K, 25% have their income
between 20K-40K and remaining 8.3% people have their income between 70K-
80K.

ANALYSIS:
In the ninth question we asked which supermarket they prefer the most and to
this 75% people chose IMTIAZ, 16.7% chose CHASE UP and 8.3% people chose
METRO.

ANALYSIS:
In the last question we asked people about some reason why they particularly
choose only that supermarket for grocery shopping and to this majority of the
people said due to price and quality and some of them said due to environment.

Summary:-
“Super Market vs Local Shops” is a hottest topic and competition in every town
nowadays. Everyone giving their best to gather more peoples and making strong
relationship with them somewhere we found special deal in occasions and other
side we found lucky draw or many bumper prices. So me and my team members
did alot of brainstorming to find two markets problem we face in our daily life.
First we have 25+ Questions than taking only relatable questions we got 10
questions to conduct our survey. We visit Luckyone mall to get information of
people why they prefer Super market rather than local stores and we get many
positive answers from them, and than we also visit Local Market (Machi Bazaar)
to get review from them, after all this struggle we get to know that peoples more
prefer super market rather than local shops for their comfortable environment
and strong customer relation.
