Age : 18 – 27 years as on 20.10.2010 for two posts.

Educational Qualification : For L.D.C post, candidate should pass in 12th standard and
working knowledge of computer with typing in English and Hindi.

ESIC Application form should be done online from 20.09.2010 to 15.10.2010 through
website http://www.esichennai.org. The print out of the ESI corporation online
application along with certificates should reach ESIC Chennai office on or before
20.10.2010.

The selection for Lower Division Clerk and Stenographer is based on written test and
Interview.

FORMAT OF WRITTEN TEST:

The examination will consist of two parts

Part-I: 3 (Three) hours duration.

one paper for 200 marks containing 4 parts:

(i) English Language

(ii) General Intelligence & General Aptitude
(iii)Numerical Aptitude
(iv) General Awareness.

The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice). The

Part II: Computer Skill Test: Only those qualified in the Part-I test shall be
admitted to the Part-II of the test.
Skill Test in Computer Knowledge using an Office Suite and database with typing speed
of 40
words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.
