III. LOGGING SELECTION
Selection logging is also an important step. The different
curves have different geological meanings, representing
different stratigraphic response. But comparing the curves of
SP, GR and RES to the transform results of wavelet, it can
be found that, the different loggings get the transformation
results are similar in shape. This is because that the change

the GR logging curves and gets the time-frequency
characteristic for sequence stratigraphic division with multi-
scale.
By the application of this method to real data analysis, it
can reduce the influence of human factors, improve the
accuracy of the sequence stratigraphy and the efficiency of
the division.
