AUM Cuts Averted

In January 2018, the


Forest Service announced
30 percent AUM cuts in
the Wall Ranger District of
South Dakota. ANG mem-
bers appealed, met with
the Forest Service, and the
Forest Service later re-
stored the AUMs for the
White River Cooperative
Grazing Association to 100
percent.
AUMs for the direct per-
mittees in the Wall Ranger
District were also largely
restored.
