Dear PATA Members,

The Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA) cordially invites PATA members to attend an exhibition and a tourism
presentation featuring “Travel along the World, Favorite Guangxi ” on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the United Nations
Headquarters in New York City. This event will join together with executives from business and non-profit sectors,
government officials, UN officials, and tourism agencies from China and the United States to promote tourism, trade
cooperation, and cultural exchange between Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China and the world. In addition we
will offer excellent raffles to all guests who will attend. It is co-hosted by the Tourism Development Commission of Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Sino-American Friendship Association.

We believe it will serve to enhance the members’ network in China by providing valuable connections with Chinese tourism
administration officials and travel agencies without the inconvenience of international travel.

To attend the event, please RSVP to monicah@safaus.org before Friday, July 27, 2018 and indicate RSVP for August 10 UN
Event. Please be advised the full name on your RSVP must be the same on your valid government issued photo ID. Please
also list your position and company name on RSVP. The final confirmation of your RSVP must be from SinoAmerican
Friendship Association. Any names without our confirmation will not be accepted due to the strict request of the United

About Guangxi Tourism

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is a coastal provincial administrative region, located in China's southern frontier.
Speaking of Guangxi, reminiscent of the first, is that the Guilin's scenery is peerless in the world. In fact, on the southern
border of this land, it has the same beautiful scenery of Guilin everywhere, characterized by evergreen trees, blue sea and
unique customs of ethnic minorities. Zhuang ethnic group is the largest minority group in China with a long history and
glorious culture. They maintain a rich variety of customs that celebrate their heritage and culture. Other minorities in
Guangxi include the Miao, Dong and Yao people, each can be recognized through their ethnic themed, colorful clothing and
unique languages. This diversity makes Guangxi one of the most culturally rich and fascinating of all of China’s provinces.
There are many monuments, such as "Liujiang Man", "White Lotus Cave Man" cave sites, spectacular Detian Waterfall,
Zhuang ancestors Huashan fresco, and the grand scenery of Ling Qu in Xing’an. All of the above show us the distant history
of Guangxi and manifest the industry and wisdom of Guangxi people.

Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA) is a New York based organization since 1992. It is an independent, nonprofit
organization, aimed at developing and strengthening friendship and understanding between the peoples of the U.S. and
China. It has three main committees including business development collaboration, education and tourism development
committee. Since its inception, SAFA has held a variety of corporate, tourism, cultural and educational exchange activities
between distinguished American and Chinese experts, scholars, and business leaders in various fields. In the past, SAFA used

Sobre el turismo de Guangxi

La Región Autónoma de Guangxi Zhuang es una región administrativa provincial costera, ubicada en la frontera
