 Information Package Asia Pacific Regional Meeting 2018

A. Event description
− Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM) is one of the annual regional
meetings of IFMSA held within Asia Pacific (though not only limited to
for Non-Asia Pacific countries to participate!). 

− This year, APRM 2018 will be held in Korea, a beautiful country in the
Pacific Coast of East Asia 

− Seoul is the principal tourist destination for visitors; popular tourist
destinations outside of Seoul include Seorak-san national park, the historic
city of Gyeongju and subtropical Jeju Island. Traveling to North Korea is
not normally possible without a special permission, but in recent years
organized group tours have allowed groups of South Korean citizens to
visit Mount Kumgang, where ancient traditions fused with modern life.
Visiting shrines and temples then hitting the city center for some shopping
is possible. Not to mention Japan’s pop culture, developed technology, and
unique cuisine : what could we ask for more? 

− In this event, you will get the chance to get to know hundreds of medical
students from all corners of the world, expand your horizon, increase your
knowledge regarding international medical issues, and contribute directly
to IFMSA’s effort in solving those issues

B. Event Timeline:
− PreAPRM: 27th June – 30 th June
o Workshops : to be announced 

o Venue : Seoul Olympic Parktel, is located in Olympic Park,
Southeast of 
Seoul. It is 75 minutes away from Incheon
international Airport, and an 
hour away from Gimpo International
Airport. 

o This part of the event is where you get to participate in numerous 

trainings and workshops on current medical issues and help solve
them through small working groups aiming to build your capacity
and channel your aspirations. 

 − ARPM: 30 th June – 4 th July
o Theme Event : Mental Health
o Venue : same as Pre APRM 

− Post ARPM : Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Tower, Caribbean bay,
Insadong. 


C. Registration Fee (tax and delegation kit included)

− APRM : $ 277 Rp 3.988.000,00
− Pre ARPM : $ 150 Rp 2.150.000,00
− Post ARPM : to be Rp 2.850.000,00 


D. Payments and Registration

− APRM

o Late Registration : 10th April

E. Cancellation dan Substitution

− Cancellation to ia@ismki.org
o Before 15th May, 23.59 WIB: Full refund
o Before 25th May, 23.59 WIB: 50% refund
− Substitution
o Before 10th June, 23.59 WIB
o Only accepted if full registration payment is completed
o After substitution is completed, the delegate may then request
payment from their substitute
F. Metode Payment
− A sum of Rp 3.988.000,00 for APRM is paid to BNI Account BNI
0388563619 a.n. Yolanda Wulandari 

− Proof of payment is then sent to treasurer@cimsa.or.id cc:
vpf@cimsa.or.id and president@cimsa.or.id by TBA

G. Visa Information and Requirements

− Type & Fee :
o Up to 10 days tourism and business purposes
o Free of Charge
o Single Entry (Tourism Purpose)
 o Rp 544.000,00 


− Procedure and Documents needed :

1. Formulir Aplikasi Visa (foto langsung ditempel pada kolom foto)

2. Paspor Asli dan Fotokopi Identitas Paspor (paspor lama jika ada)
:
Jika sudah pernah mengunjungi Amerika atau Negara OECD
lampirkan fotokopi visa Negara tersebut 

3. Selain Visa Negara OECD, tidak perlu melampirkan fotokopi Visa
4. Surat Keterangan Kerja atau Surat Keterangan Mahasiswa (Asli)
- Pelajar/Mahasiswa : Surat Keterangan Mahasiswa/pelajar dalam
Bahasa Inggris
- Karyawan: Surat Keterangan Kerja dalam bahasa Inggris

- Wiraswasta: Fotokopi SIUP 

5. Dokumen Keuangan
: Rekening Koran, Bukti Potong Laporan
Pembayaran Pajak (SPT) atau Slip Gaji
- Pelajar/Mahasiswa wajib
melampirkan Rekening Koran Orang Tua
- Ibu Rumah Tangga
ataupun yang tidak bekerja dan tidak memiliki rekening koran
pribadi, wajib melampirkan rekening Koran Suami/Istri. 

6. Fotokopi Kartu Keluarga 

7. Jika ada pengundang pribadi ataupun perusahaan pengundang,
wajib melampirkan tambahan dokumen dibawah ini 

8. Surat Undangan, Fotokopi SIUP Perusahaan Pengundang, Surat
Jaminan, Fotokopi Identitas Pengundang 

9. Tujuan untuk belajar, lampirkan Certificate of Admission 

10. Tujuan dengan waktu tinggal lebih dari 90 hari, lampirkan
Certificate of Health dari Rumah Sakit yang telah ditunjuk oleh
Kedubes Korea. 

11. Tiket Pesawat dan reservasi tempat menginap bukan persyaratan
dan tidak perlu dilampirkan 

12. Dokumen di atas wajib disusun sesuai urutan dan distreples dengan
rapi.

There are 2 kinds of invitation letter provided once completing the
registration process, one from NMO Indonesia and the other from APRM
Organizing Committee used to apply for visa as a proof of purpose and
accommodation arrangements
