In your opinion, what are some benefits to this method of vocabulary instruction?
It allows the teacher to use the vocab more than once so that the students are getting it and hearing it in different ways. You also use
the vocab after you teach it. It also gives the students more control over how well they know the vocab. It allows the teacher to see
who is struggling with the vocab and how to help those students.

What would be hard for you to accomplish according to the steps presented for this method?
For me, I think that making the time to go over vocab will be hard. There is so much in my field that needs to be taught. However, you
can not teach it without the vocab. The other thing that I think will be difficult to accomplish is getting the students interested in the
vocab. I know that I was the student that vocab was mentioned in in aspect, my brain would shut off. Even if I understood it, vocab was
not fun, and I disliked doing it.

When teaching second language learners or ELLs what are some strategies that you will use in your lesson
planning when teaching vocabulary?
When putting them in groups, you can place them with other ELLs so that they can work together on understanding that word. You can
also allow them to write what they think the word is in their own native language because that is how it relates to them. I also think that
the more that you can use the word in the context that the word belongs in, the better it will be.
