Q1 MANAGEMENT IN 19’ FIU

1. BTS POLLING

1. Make Q1 and Proceccer ON in the BTS via Hubmanager…Configuration…Q1 Management….

For Example ….

2. Now take the Hubmanager…Configuration…Service Interface….

3. Set the Q1 port Baud Rate at 9600

4. Set the Q1 address of the FIU (Here it is “1”)

5. Set the Q1 group address of the FIU (Here it is “4050” )

6. Connect TQ/RJ connector at FIU 19’ at Q1-1 port and D-9 pin connector at BTS Top at Q1_1Port.

7. In FIU 19’ connect the FIU go to Configure…Settings….Network Element….Modify…Q1 Branching

Bridge…Click. Or Select ….Q1-1, Q1-2 on…

8. Then in the Menu Click Q1 port…

9. Set the Q1 port Baud Rate at 9600

10. Set the Q1 address of the FIU (Here it is “1”)

11. Set the Q1 group address of the FIU (Here it is “4050” )

12. In the BSC, add the FIU 19’ with that BCF by No. (For Example if we are connecting the FIU with Q1
address 1 to BCFno 48 and ) then,

ZQWA:BCF=48:TRE=2:1;

13. List the FIU 19’ with that BCF by No. (For Example if we have connected the FIU with BCFno 48)
then,

ZQWL:BCF=48;
