Espíritu aventurero

I am a true adventurer. But I couldn't be any other way. I come from a long line of great
travellers and warriors.

Soy un auténtico aventurero. Pero no podría ser de ninguna otra manera. Vengo de una
larga tradición de grandes viajeros y guerreros.

One of my ancestors was a pirate who sailed the Caribbean seas in the 18th century.
Another was an explorer who embarked on expeditions to the north and south poles in
the 19th century.

siglo XVIII. Otro fue un explorador que embarcó en expediciones a los polos norte y sur
en el siglo XIX.

I've got another ancestor who explored the Amazon before any European dared to set
foot there.

And I've turned out just like them: an adventurer and a daredevil. But I don't take the
credit for it. It's all down to them, my ancestors.

If I go out and it's pouring down I don't bother taking an umbrella.

If I find a tin in the kitchen cupboard that is past its sell-by date I remember my noble
and glorious ancestors and say "What the hell!" and I eat the contents of the tin. Oh yes.
I swallow the whole lot without flinching.

My latest exploits have included running across a zebra crossing without looking, going
to the cinema with no idea what the film was about and... riding a bike for the first time
in twenty years.

sin tener ni idea de qué iba la película y... montar en bicicleta por primera vez en veinte
años.
All in all I've lost count of all my numerous feats and exploits. Each day is a real
adventure for me. I adore the freedom of being a true adventurer. And all thanks to my
ancestors.
