On the upper surfaces I mosty used the pigments “dry”, not ‘adeing any solvent to fx them. On the running gear an lower hu arese, the application of pigments was not very su, since, bviously, those areas are prone to get alot cer than the rest of the model, and here | fxed the accumulations ef pigment with ‘inner and once dn | retouched these areas win more "ry" pigments (ohoto 12). 8, Tacks “The wracks were painted in matt black and then recelved a “wash” nicure of Dark Mud PO38 andi Old Rust P2s0 pigments. One tank showed the onward thermal sleeve missing from the barrel, and another featured the rubber skirt danging tom Its side. While | was at It decided to tr to make a front tender by embossing lead foll over the kit para. It worked prety well and once | wes satisfied I removed the kit mud quards. | also decided to make the two, reer oll rum from lead fol as well Finally | wanted to show ‘some ofthe hidden structure of the fenders go I removed the rear two fuel tanks and used Evergreen styrene to fabricate @ section of bare fender.\ith the basic hull & turret assembled | began focussing on the ‘smaller detalls.| serutnized my reference photos and adda al cng of ite nuts & bots missing on the Tamiya kit, repiecing ‘some detalle & parts anc modiving otners. !m not complaining ‘per love this stuf Its not very hard to do and the results are _siways very eatotying.
