THE PASSIVE VOICE WITH THE SIMPLE ASPECT

FORM:
 The noun or noun phrase that would be the object of an active sentence appears as the
passive subject;
 “To be” is used as the auxiliary verb of the sentence in the passive voice;
 The main verb is used in the past participle;
 The preposition “by” is used to present the agent;
 The noun or noun phrase that would be the subject of an active sentence appears as the
agent of a sentence with passive voice.
