Binary Form: AB, minimum 28 measures
A section: Modulating double period, ababʼ form. If in a major key, it should modulate to the
dominant key, and cadence there. If in a minor key, it should modulate to the relative major key,
and cadence there.

B section: Double period, the form is somewhat open. The first period should use strict (canonic)
imitation, and modulate. If the main key of the piece is in major, the modulation should cadence
in the relative minor. If the main key of the piece is minor, then the modulation should cadence
in the minor dominant key. The second period should use a sequence to modulate back to the
original key. The entire piece must end with a PAC in the original key.

Notes:
-Two to three melodic motives are used and developed throughout.
-It can be in the key of G major or D major or whatever easier for you
-The bass is melodically shaped, and uses some or all of the melodic motives.
-I use FINALE, so if you can send the FINALE file it would be helpful
-I will also need the Roman numerals, non-chord tone labels, cadence labels, and phrase
structure labels
