e-CONSTRUCTION SAFETY AND HEALTH

COURSE
FOR SITE SAFETY OFFICERS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This comprehensive e-Learning on Construction Safety and Health (COSH) Course for Site
Safety Officer was developed by CMDF for busy people or for those who cannot physically
participate in the traditional classroom seminar set-up due to distance, say those who are
abroad, and those who are in the regions. It serves to compliment the DOLE prescribed 40-
hour COSH giving participants options to choose their learning experiences from traditional
classroom seminar set-up or online. This course is one of the major requirements for
accrediting Safety Practitioner. It provides participants a clear and concise understanding of
the various responsibilities of a Safety Officer and the relative OSH Standards.

The participants or e-Learners from this program will be guided by their Coaches/Mentors
to ensure that all the learning objectives will be attained at the end of the course. All
Coaches/Mentors are CMDF certified Trainer/Assessor and are also DOLE Accredited Safety
& Health Practitioner/Consultant.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
Anyone whose primary concern is SAFETY & HEALTH. Highly recommended for construction
people, project owners, OFWs, professionals and students who want to assume the position
of Safety Officer and be accredited as Safety Practitioner.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the seminar, the participants shall acquire the following core competencies:

Formulate, develop, and administer the company Safety Program;


Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and improve company safety standard;
Develop safety inspection checklist and conduct job site safety inspection;
Perform Accident Investigation and reporting;
Correct deviation from safety standards.

REGISTRATION FEE:
Registration fee for this course is Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos Only (P 2,500.00)
payable online or through Bank Deposit. Additional Five Hundred Pesos (P 500.00) per
session (there are five sessions) payable directly to the Coaches/Mentors, their contact
details shall be given to you by the CMDF Program Coordinator upon payment of the
registration fee.
