Configuration of “Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” for Wireless Presentation

of Learning Content

I. Rationale

Technology is significant in education. It is an essential approach to achieve

improvement in productivity and increase learning sustainability of the learners.
Computer technology for example, is used by the school offices to accomplish faster
communication, record databases, create or edit documents and submit reports.
Biometrics technology is used to automatically tally the log in and log out of the school
teaching and non-teaching personnel. There are technologies used in subjects such as
Science and TLE that allow the students to learn how it is utilized and applied to daily
lives. Lastly, the teachers utilize computers to compute grades, prepare lesson plans and
produce learning materials for their respective subjects.

Learning materials are created by the teachers to support the teaching and learning
environment inside the classroom. It can provide the students with customized and
relevant lessons that will meet the learners’ needs. The manner on how to present these
lessons to learners varies with different teachers. Some may use conventional ways such
as using cartolina and manila paper, some may use computer and projector. The use of
smart televisions is mostly popular today because it’s easy to use than computer and
projector. Also, smart televisions have capabilities to screen share the mobile devices of
the user.

To be able to help our teachers to provide our dear LBNHS students with an
inventive way of presenting learning materials through projected technology, the
proposed project is a good step to achieve this goal. The proposed Configuration of
“Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” for Wireless Presentation of Learning Content is
an innovative project to obtain the benefits of using the screen sharing technology. In
addition, this project exhibits collaborative initiative between teachers that share common
interest to alleviate teaching styles of teachers for the benefits of the students.
II. Objectives

a) Configure the “Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” for wireless presentation of

learning content using mobile units.
b) Train the teachers to use the “Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” for wireless
presentation of learning content using mobile units.
c) Encourage the teachers to use the “Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” for wireless
presentation of learning content using mobile units.
d) Lessen the preparation time in putting up the learning materials.
e) Increase the motivation of the learners to learn towards the lesson.
f) Appreciate the benefits of using the wireless presentation of learning content
using mobile units.

Note: Time of configuration will be done during the break of the students of the selected
classroom to avoid class disruption.

VI. Expected Output

At the end of the project, the students will be able to:

a) Configured “Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” ready for wireless presentation

of learning content using mobile units.
b) Trained teachers capable to use the “Nanay-Teacher Smart TV Sets” for
wireless presentation of learning content using mobile units.
c) Faster preparation time in putting up the learning materials.
d) Enthusiastic learners during the lesson.
e) Frequent use of the screen sharing technology because of the appreciation of
the benefits of using the wireless presentation of learning content using
mobile units.
