Client Description:

Tesoro Corporation (Tesoro) is an independent petroleum refining and marketing company

that operates through three business segments

 Refining, this owns and operates refineries that refine crude oil and other feed stocks into
transportation fuels.

 TLLP, a publicly traded limited partnership, which owns and operates networks of crude
oil, refined products, natural gas pipelines, and transportation and storage assets.
 Marketing, which sells gasoline and diesel fuel through multi-site operator retail stations
and agreements with third-party branded dealers and distributor.
Since Tesoro has operations that involve refining and selling of transportation fuels,
they have to comply with certain U.S. government programs, one of which is the U.S.
Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2).The U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2) is a federal
program that promotes the use of renewable fuels in transportation fuel (i.e. gasoline
and diesel mixtures.

The erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board which came into existence in 1959 was
responsible for Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electricity. Under Electricity Sector
Reforms agenda, Government of Andhra Pradesh promulgated Andhra Pradesh Electricity Reforms
Act, 1998.The erstwhile APSEB was unbundled into one Generating Company (APGENCO),One
Transmission Company(APTRANSCO) and Four Distribution Companies (APDISCOMs) as part of the
reform process.
