As a welder I fabricated high tolerance parts and equipment from intricate
blueprints. Fabricated hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel systems for use on heavy
industrial machinery. The demands of this experience were typically time based,
needing to complete parts in a timely manner in addition to staying self
motivated.

Hardware Engineer, Apple — Nov 2012- December 2015


Conducted computer hardware engineering and research, design, development
and implementation in the latest computer Apple hardware technology. Worked
on the computer itself, as well as related equipment.

Specialized in the research and design stages. Conducted carful research about
the types and cost of materials that'll be used to make the hardware. Dealt
specifically with the ribbon cables in the current production (2018) of all
MacBook models.

I was hired internally from Apple Retail to Apple Corporate however after a
successful completion of my first project, I came to understand that I needed to
finish my degree as I found myself uncomfortably in over my head on a many
occasions.

Apple Retail is about as fast paced as it gets. It demands the successful
completion of an ever changing variety of tasks in a high stress, fast paced
environment. Here I was able to excel in various positions including sales, repair,
and inventory control. One of the more enjoyable and challenging aspects was
the demand to relay complex information to cliental in a simple and efficient
manner and thereby build a positive trusting relationship.

I loved my time in the customer service world of Apple, however I had been
presented with an opportunity that was hard to pass on, it promised more
personal income and professional
