12 week clinical affiliation in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic
Evaluated and treated patients with neurological conditions including Cerbrovascular
accident/stroke, Guillain Barre Syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, and
Parkison’s Disease.
Evaluated and treated patients with orthopedic injuries and post operative joint replacements
such as rotator cuff repairs, total knee arthroplasty, total hip replacements, ankle sprains, etc.
Co-treated and communicated with occupational therapist, speech/language pathologist,
cognitive rehabilitation therapist on patient condition, treatment interventions, and plans of care
Developed, educated, and implemented home exercise programs
Directed and supervised physical therapy aides in patient care

Evaluated and treated patients of varying diagnoses including total hip arthroplasty, lower
extremity fracture/multi-trauma, cerbrovascular accident/stroke, Guillain-Barre syndrome, spinal
fractures, pneumonia, subdural hematoma, cardiac complications, lower extremity amputation,
total knee arthroplasty, among others
Independent with setup and execution of body weight supported treadmill/gait training for
patients with various neurologic disorders
Lead a stroke class inservice to stroke survivors and family members
Presented and lead a journal club on the topic of Guillan Barre Syndrome and current research
on treatment interventions
Directed and supervised physical therapy assistants and technicians
Communicated with physiatrist, physicians and nursing staff on patient conditions, treatment, and
plans of care
