• The perineal vein receives the posterior labial (female), posterior scrotal (male) and
transverse perineal veins as well as branches from bulbocavernosus and
ischiovavernosus.

• It passes over the transversi perinei superficiales and travels upwards to drain into the
internal pudendal vein.

Receives blood from

• Bulbospongiosus and Ischiocavernosus.

• Posterior labial branches (female).

• Posterior scrotal branches (male)

• Transverse perineal artery.

Drains into

• Internal pudendal vein.
