Task2: Create a time table in land scape mode and implement the following

i) Change the Font Color and size of the Title

ii) Merge the cells as when required
iii) Change the text direction in some cells
iv) Make all column widths as equally distributed
v) Make the text appear in the center of the cells

Procedure

i) Open MS Office word

ii) Click on New and select Blank Document
iii) Type the Text
iv) Click on Insert tab and click on table icon
v) Click on Insert table option
vi) Type the no of columns and rows
vii) Enter the Text in the columns of 1st row as headings

Change the Font Color and size of the Title

i) Select the heading by left clicking mouse and drag to select the text
ii) Click on Home tab on the ribbon
iii) Click “A” on the fonts section and select the desired color
iv) Change the font size in the Fonts section

Merge the cells

i) Select the cells by dragging the mouse where we want to merge by left click the mouse
ii) Right click on the selection and click merge
Or
Click on the Table tools tab and click on Lay out and click merge icon

Change the text direction in a cell

i) Select the cell and right click on the mouse

ii) Click on Text Direction
iii) Choose the Text Orientation as vertical

Make column widths as equally distributed

i) Select the uneven columns

ii) Right click on the mouse
iii) Click on Distribute columns evenly

Aligning the text in center of the cells

i) Select the cells
ii) Right click on the mouse
iii) Choose Cell alignment
iv) Choose Center
