Mercury Ballasts for Multiple Circuits Application

Ballasts and transformers are suitable for
aerial, pole top, pole base and vault installa-
tion. However, they are not sLritable for con-
tinuous submersion or direct burial. AIways
use drip loops and waterproof splices. For
pole top mounting the fitter musl be
ordered separately. see accessories chart
below. The corrosion free aluminum tank
used lor all transformers reduces weight and
provides increased durability. All ballasts
have an insulation syslem. fot improved bal-
performance and longer service lile.

Use of a cadrnium sulphide photocell pro-
vides a simplified circuit with no vacuLlrn
tlrbes or transistors - insures maximum op-
erating l le. tlectron.c head is enc osed n a
plastic housing, and the base is fitted with a
three-prong twist-lock type p!!rg. Will con-
trol incandescent, mercury or Jluorescent
R C-O-C MLrltiple Relays are used to con-
trol multiple roadway lightlng circuits. Con-
trol voltage mLrst be 120 volts in all cases.
Current to circuit must not exceed contact
current rating as shown, Units are also
shown with twist-lock receptacle for photo-
control.
