2. Report of Salient technical activities/Maintenance Work done at the Studio & Control Room,
Transmitter during the month & Points for attention of ADG (E) -NZ (AVM).
1. On 2/4/18 the FM Rainbow and FM Vividh Bharati transmitters were cleaned.
2. On 8/4/18, 12/4/18 and 25/4/18 the 250KVA DG set was thoroughly checked. It was found to
be OK.
3. On 09/04/18, the frequencies of the FM Gold and FM Vividh Bharati services were
interchanged. Now FM Gold is available on 100.MHz and FM Vividh Bharati service is available
on 106.4MHz.
4. On 10/4/18, the 6 1/8” rigid line at the private FM transmitter site which was getting hot from
a few days was looked into by the private FM broadcasters. After the repair work the power of
the new transmitters of DB Electronica make has been raised to 20KW.
5. On 17/4/18, the Nautel make transmitter was thoroughly cleaned.
