2. Report of Salient technical activities/Maintenance Work done at the Studio & Control Room,
Transmitter during the month & Points for attention of ADG (E) -NZ (AVM).
1. On 9/5/18 two new 2ton split ACs were installed in the combiner room.
2. On 15/5/18 the filters of the FM Gold and FM Rainbow- DB make transmitters were thoroughly
cleaned.
3. On 1/5/18, 6/5/18,14/5/18 and 21/5/18 the routine checks and maintenance thereof was
carried out in the FM Rainbow and FM Gold DG sets.
4. On 22/5/18, one UPS and isolation transformer were connected in FM Gold DB make
transmitter.
5. On 29/5/18, the maintenance of the RF rigid lines at private FM end was carried out. All loose
contacts, dirt and dust etc were fixed.
