Product Description Chemrite SS is a ready to use surface sealer, hardener and dust
proofer, based on sodium silicates, which provides a hard, dust-
free surface finish.

Uses Chemrite SS can be used on both new and old concrete floors
and other surfaces. It is not suitable for natural stone and other
very dense materials.

Specific gravity Approximately 1.12 Kg/Lit.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Consumption Approximately 0.15 – 0.25 Kg/m2 (0.13-0.22 Lit/m2) per coat,
depending on texture and porosity of the substrate. Normally 2
coats are required, porous substrate may require 3 coats.

Waiting time Allow to dry for 24 hours between the coats

Application Details

Substrate Preparation All substrates must be sound, dry and free from all loosely
adhering particles. Concrete should have at least finally set
before applying Chemrite SS
_______________________________________________________________________________
Application Chemrite SS is ready to use product and can be applied over the
substrate with a soft broom or squeegee. Spread Chemrite SS
liquid back and forth over the surface to ensure maximum and
even penetration. Do not allow puddles to form on flat surfaces.
Normally two coats are sufficient, but in some cases a third coat
is beneficial. Allow a waiting time 24 hours between the coats. A
day after the final treatment, the floor should be washed with
clean water.

Cleaning Equipment Clean all equipment after use with water.

Remarks Remove all puddles or free standing material immediately after
application. Chemrite SS cannot be expected to make a poor,
disintegrating concrete suitable for use.

Safety
_______________________________________________________________________________
Precautions Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed off with water
and soap. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed with
clean warm water. Seek medical attention without delay. Skin
barrier cream, safety goggles and rubber gloves are
recommended.
