Application

Important --When applied to slightly moist concrete, brush Chemdur
– 30 well into substrate
-- Max. layer thickness 30 mm
-- Use low speed mixer (max. 500 rpm) to entrain as little air
as possible
_______________________________________________________________________________
Substrate --Clean, free from oil and grease, dry, no loose particles or
laitance.
-- Preparation: Sandblasting, high-pressure water jetting,
grinding
-- Max. substrate moisture 4%
-- If the concrete surface has large uneven sections or holes
after preparation, these must first be filled with Chemdur
-30 and quartz sand (mixing ratio 1:1 by weight).

Mixing Stir the material well in the containers. Add component B to
component A. Mix with an electric low speed hand mixer (max.
500 rpm) for about 3 minutes for uniform appearance. Entrain as
little air as possible. The pot life begins when the resin and
hardener are mixed. The greater the quantity mixed, the shorter
the pot life. To obtain longer workability at high temperatures,
chill components A and B before mixing them.

Application The well-mixed Chemdur-30 is applied with a spatula, trowel or
float. Chemdur-30 is applied to the strips in “pitched-roof”
shape. Within the open time the carbon-fibre strips must be fixed
in their final position. Carbon-fibre strips are firmly pressed to
the substrate by hand with the aid of a rubber roller. It is
essential that the strip is evenly pressed to the substrate until
Chemdur-30 adhesive is squeezed out on both sides of the
strips.

Cleaning Clean tools immediately. Wash hands and skin thoroughly in
warm soap water. Cured material can only be removed
mechanically.
