 Delhi Airport Metro Express Private
Limited (DAMEPL) engaged LIPL for
performing technical audit of the
following:
 Earthing and Bonding system of all
subsystems viz. Power Supply, LV system,
HVAC, SIG, COM, PSD , BHS etc. at stations
and trainways
 LV power supply system , control power
supply system etc.
 Emergency evacuation routes at stations,
depot and trainways

comprehensive Audit Report duly

 The scope of work envisaged by Kolkata Metro
for rehab of 7 nos. old NGEF rakes included new
corten steel shells, replacement of complete
pneumatic pipe lines / reservoirs with SS
material, complete rewiring, fitment of RMPU,
automatic door system, interiors, PA system &
CCTV system, static inverters for RMPU &
auxiliary power requirement etc.
 M/s Titagarh Wagon Limited engaged LIPL for
assisting them for preparation of bid for
rehabilitation of 7 rakes of Kolkata Metro. The
services delivered by LIPL included:

 Preparation of technical proposal including detailed


comments on the complete tender & particularly
on BOQ items,
 Technical paper regarding possibility of MA set or
inverter’s applicability in rehab rakes,
 Detailed BOQ preparation (including costing of
various technical & commercial conditions not
explicitly shown in schedules of Metro Railway),
 Cost estimation,
 Technical & commercial interactions with
equipment vendors etc.

 RVNL notified three electrification projects
(Pune-Guntakal-Wadi-Raichur sections - total of
about 380 route-km / 940 track-km) for bidding
by eligible firms. The project envisaged 25kV AC
electrification of these sections alongwith few
big yards. A total of 7 nos. of traction
substations and about 15 nos. switching posts
were envisaged in the above-mentioned
sections.
 M/s Elecnor Infrastructures, Spain engaged LIPL
for assisting them for preparation of bid. The
services delivered by LIPL included:

 M/s VEERA Technotrec is an approved
supplier of IR for supply of sleepers
and other railway materials. For their
one African project, dual gauge
sleeper design was requested to be
performed by LIPL.
 LIPL performed the design as per AS
1085.17-2003, which included the

 Ballast depth of 250-300mm
 Axle load of 25 t
 Design life of sleeper 500 mn gross tone

 Clamping force at rail seat 20 kN
