Apreciação sumária da actuação / desempenho de cada formando:

Helena Godinho was in this group two years ago. Then she gave up and she didn’t have
classes for a year. Last year she came back to the same group. I told her that she was
weaker than the other students, but she wanted to stay because she just wanted to
maintain her level of English. She has health problems and very often isn’t able to
participate in classroom activities because she is tired, or medicated. She is motivated to
learn and hard working, but she didn’t make enough progress. She needs a lot of work
with her grammar. She should be on level IV/V because she makes a lot of elementary
mistakes.

Isabel Costa is the best student in this class and probably the most dedicated and hard-
working students I’ve ever met. She is very motivated to learn. She always does her
homework, participates actively in all activities and studies a lot. I was impressed with her
notes, and how systematic and organised she was. All this reflected on her progress. Both
her grammar and vocabulary are excellent for this level.

João Marinheiro has made very good progress. She is very motivated to learn. She
doesn’t like to speak much, so she should try to improve her oral skills. Her grammar and
vocabulary are very good for this level. She should be more punctual as well. Her
pronunciation is very good.
