I had the pleasure of teaching Octavian in his 11th grade English class at Regina Maria High School. From the
first day of class, Octavian impressed me with his ability to be articulate about difficult concepts and texts, his s
passion for reading, writing, and creative expression- both in and out of the classroom. Octavian is a talented
English speaker and he has my highest recommendation as a student .

Throughout the year Octavian was an active participant in our discussions, and he always supported his peers.
His caring nature and personality allow him to work well with others in a team setting, as he always respects
others' opinions even when they differ from his own. Throughout the year, he demonstrated this openness to
and empathy for the opinions, feelings, and perspectives of others, along with shrewd powers of observa-
tion.Octavian has excellent communication skills. His written work is both clear and concise, as well as inter-
esting to read. He demonstrated his oral articulateness in the discussion sections that were an integral part of the
course.
