Chart display is compliant with IHO S52 chart display standards. S57 charts
applicable.
Individual charts are smoothly combined between. Charts can easily zoomed
in or out.

AIS targets are automatically updated on chart with position and other status
data.
An AIS vessel can be immediately located by select the vessel in ship list.
The located vessel will be displayed in the center of screen.
COS, SOG and heading information is displayed.
Quick location for a vessel is possible.
Flag icon is displayed for vessel nationality.
The vessel size can be easily indicated when zoomed in.
CPA/TCPA calculation can be made on chart. The value of CPA/TCPA is also
updated automatically.
Vessels can be programmed into groups in colors, which can help vessel
management.
2. System Initialization
Port Setting
When user PC is connected with AIS receiver, Port Setting is needed.
Open “config.ini” file in “Release” folder. Set “CommName=” as current port
number. Default is“CommName=1”. For example, if the current port is COM1,
set “CommName=2”. Save the setting and exit.
TCP/IP Setting
When user PC visits AIS TCP/IP server via Internet or Intranet, TCP/IP setting is
required.
Open “config.ini” file in “Release” folder. Set “TCP/IP=” as IP address of the
server and “Port=” as the port at the server.
Save the setting and exit.
Initial Location

You can initial location for the software so that the center of chart will be fixed at
your location whenever you open the software.
Open “config.ini” in “Release”. Set the “Lon=”, “Lat=” and “Scale=” in
[GeoParament].
Save the file and exit.
Note:
Above configuration should be finished before running the software.

The current screen can be saved with or without targets into .jpg or .bmp
file.
The screen can also be printed.

There is a bar below the window, on which the current position of the mouse will
displayed, together with chart scale and sytem time.
5. Software Applications
As ship size is displayed on the screen with the same proportion as the chart. It’s very easy to read
the port situation from the screen, which can facility the port administration greatly.

A particular vessel can be easily tracked by locking the vessel target in the screen center. While
moving, the vessel is always displayed still with the chart moving in opposite direction. The
function is also called “remote-pilot” as you can feel you are just piloting the vessel onboard.
A ship manager can plan the route for his vessel and monitor the vessel whether she sails on
designed route. Any bias from the route or mis-operation can be warned or prompted to the captain.
