What is new in Calculux Road 4.0a

Calculux Road 4.0a is an upgrade of Calculux Road 3.0. Major changes are:
New luminaire selection dialogue;
Support for shapes on grids;
Generation of reports using non-western character sets.
Internet address of support organisation in About dialogue.

Installing other report languages.

Calculux supports run-time selection of the report language.

To do so, each language requires an extra language file to be installed in the application folder of
Calculux Road.
All available languages for reporting are installed automatically during installation.
When an extra language must be installed, the required file ( named CRO_*.RPT ) can be copied
into this folder ( e.g. C:\Program Files\Calculux\Road ) with the Windows Explorer.

Note that it may be necessary to enable Multilanguage Support. In Windows 95/98, choose
'Add/Remove Programs' in the Control Panel, go to 'Windows Setup' and enable 'Multilanguage
Support'. In Windows NT, Multilanguage Support is always available.

Commonly asked questions and answers

Q: Why does the legend in the report not show all project luminaires?
A: The legend of luminaire types only shows the used luminaires in a project. This is not the
list of available ones, but only those which are installed. The legend in the 2-D project overview
and all the calculation results is disabled in case of more than six used luminaire types.

Q: Can the package be used from a network?

A: The package should be installed as a local application for each PC. The database however,
can be used from a network in a multi-user environment!
