Multiple Intelligence Theory

Each child is gifted – Some just have not opened it

It’s not how MUCH a child is intelligent
MIT is all about HOW the child is intelligent – So accept them
MIT expose the children to all the intelligence – So support them
MIT do not force a square peg into a round hole – So be flexible.

Dr Howard Gardner of Harvard University introduced MIT in his book – Frames of Mind

He says there are 8 ways of knowing and each has a set of core operations of the mind.
Has proposed the 9th intelligence – Spiritual or existential – which is yet to be deeply worked upon.
