July 2017

Dear Partner in God's eternal kingdom,

Blessings from Jerusalem in Messiah's name to each one of you.

We are now in the full swing of the summer 2017 evangelism work, and God is faithful. But first of all, Darlene
and I pray for you. The Lord bless you, protect you and use you too in sharing the Gospel of Jesus to those
around you. God loves to see us speaking about His Son to others.

In the light of Romans 1:16, we are conducting 3 major evangelistic outreaches this summer 2017 between
the months of May to September. We appreciate your prayer and support as the Gospel goes out. 

Israel
This past month we had a team in Israel from around the world. Each year the Lord sends workers to bring
hope to Jews and Arabs for the annual Israel Pentecost outreach during the month of May - June. Will you
join us next year 2018? Pray about it. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore
beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” Luke 10:2

The outreach took place by the Sea of Galilee. Often many Israelis make fun of Jesus that He walked on water
because the lake was frozen 2000 years ago. At least we rejoice to know that many Israelis know that
someone special (according to the Prophets) was here 2000 years ago. Darlene and I believe the opposite
was the truth, that the hearts of the people of Israel and the nations of the world were frozen by the power of
sin and death. But when the Son of God came into the world 2000 years ago, His death and resurrection
made alive the hearts of men, releasing them from the power of sin and death, to reunite them with their
Father in heaven. The Gospel is truly the only power of God for salvation - Romans 1:16. There is no other
power outside the Gospel of Jesus. We have been given a privilege to bring the Gospel to the world. We
thank God for your partnership in prayer and financial support for the Gospel to go out commanded by the
Lord Jesus. Thank you for your obedience to partner. We appreciate you.

In the outreach, lots of seeds were planted in many hearts. Some of our team members
spoke not only English, but Russian, Spanish, Hebrew, and German in order to share
the hope of glory with many Jewish people returning to Israel from around the world in
these last days. Also we had the privilege to bring the good news to the sons of
Ishmael; the Arabs.

The team was so inspired when The Holy Spirit got a hold of 4 hearts with the Power of
the Gospel and each one made a decision for Messiah Jesus. 2 Jews and 2 Arabs
came to know The Lord. Follow up is taking place now by the local congregations we
work with. 

We are so thankful for your prayers that are so important in evangelism. This goes hand in hand. One Jewish
lady who prayed to receive the Lord happened to live in the same town as one of our team members and they
invited her to their congregation, and the next day she was there with her family! The Pastor and the
congregation were so encouraged. This is really special. Please pray that these 4 new believers will grow in
the Lord.

Romania - August 25 to Sept 3, 2017

By God's grace World Mission Outreach will conduct an evangelistic outreach in Brasov, North Romania. The
population is heavy in tradition and religion in Eastern Orthodoxy. Religion replaced relationship in the hearts
of people therefore they do not know God. Jesus said in John 14:9, he who knows Me, knows the Father. So
many do not have a personal relationship with Jesus as Lord God and Savior. We will present the Gospel of
Jesus to 3 different towns and several churches are working together to prepare for the follow up. The Gospel
is very important, it is the Good News for a person to be restored to a true and living relationship with the
Father through The Son of God. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under
heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12.

We will speak at many Gypsy villages too. We thank you for your prayers and financial support for this
outreach. We will report to you after the outreach. Join us in bringing the hope of Jesus to these marginalized
people.

Tanzania - September 9 to 24, 2017

Together with many churches we will conduct an evangelistic outreach among Tanzanian people by the
border with Malawi. We will preach in the town of Uyole and Matema. Since we run an orphan center called
Naomi Ruth (a branch of WMO) our kids will join us and worship in song and share before the Gospel is
proclaimed. We are equipping the next generation for ministry. Churches are very excited, praying and
working hard making sure all members will bring their neighbors to hear the Good News of the Gospel of
Jesus. Islam has gotten a foothold in some of those areas. We need lots of prayers.

Also, we will conduct 4 days of seminars equipping the pastors in the Word of God, the importance of
obedience to the Word, evangelism and mobilizing the body to reach out to others. It will be a big task, but
we thank God for the many churches involved in this upcoming work. 

Our vision for Naomi Ruth orphan center has always been to see
Israelis come and be a blessing to the children and then see our
children be a light with the hope in the Messiah to them. Naomi Ruth
represents a vision based of Ruth 1:16 and Romans 1:16. Ruth
being the Gentile and Naomi being the Jew. This week 2 Israelis
came to the orphan center and it wasn't through our doing. The Lord
brought them to MBeya where Maara, director of NR met them in a
cafe. The Lord did the rest! To God be the glory! HE is faithful.

This is what Maara said, “not sure who was more impacted Gefen &
Shelly or our children! We had a great visit from Gefen & Shelly, who
are traveling through Africa, and came to the center last weekend.
They loved engaging with our children and teaching them how to
make decorations for Sukkot.”

If the Lord puts in your heart to join us in any of these outreaches this year or next year, please let us know.
We need helpers, ministry assistance, prayers and financial resources. Above all your prayers for protection
and good health to serve the Lord Jesus until He comes back.
