Minimum 2 years related experience in EH&S Programs, auditing and compliance. Deep knowledge
in these programs and/ or ability to achieve this knowledge level within 12 months.
Minimum of 3 years working directly in the operating environment ideally in the food manufacturing or
like industry.
Ideally candidate has a degree/ diploma in a technical field and direct experience in the EHS.
Should have advanced diploma in Industrial safety recognized by RLI.

To advise and support the Plant Head and other persons involved in planning, organizing,

for the position of Safety Officer/Executive.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out Safety Observation Tour (SOT) on a day to day basis, document the observations and
close the same.
2. Maintain all statutory records pertaining to safety such as accident/incident register and PPEs
issued registers; Report the Unsafe Acts/Unsafe Conditions and maintain records along with the
CAPA implementation.
3. Issuing work permits for hot work, cold work, civil works, confined space entry, height work permit
and LOTOTO systems. Ensure the job is carried out safely only after issuing the work permit.
4. Ensure adequate training for firefighting and arrange emergency mock drill and evacuation drill on
quarterly basis.
5. Ensure the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is in place and the employees are trained on ERP.
Also, ensure the ERP team members are regularly trained on handling emergencies at the plant.
6. Audit and check that all the Safety Equipments are in proper working conditions. Check all
