WEAVING & COLLAGES

The abstract collage was inspired by the
arrangement of the apothecary bottles and
some of the other beauty products in the
shop. They are of different sizes and they are
also arranged neatly and horizontally on the
display racks. From far, it looks like a variety
of lines in different lineweights being spread
across the shop.
Aesop’s unique way in arrangement of their
products have value added the shop interiors
in terms of aesthetics. Therefore, I am making
use of the lines in various lineweights to create
different depths and transitions found in the
shop.

TEXTILE REPEAT PATTERN

The final pattern was being transferred onto the silkscreen and
it was repeated in different colour paints. The lines join from the
first to the repeated pattern and it gives a clearer picture of the
depths created by different lineweights.
