of exam and making your own strategies for time management and maximum
attempts.

I hope all of you enjoyed our LIC AAO 2016 Exam course, learned a lot and your
doubts got cleared.

Here we are providing you with a small example that how can you manage your
time with expected topics in each section.
First you should all manage your time like you have to give how much time for each
section. Quant and Reasoning section are always time consuming, and sometimes
when we don’t get answer to an easy question, we become panic. So please do not
get panic while attempting these sections, stay cool and calm. I know its not that
easy but not difficult too.
Start with English Section, then GK, then Reasoning, then Computers and last
Quant, or as you

A tip* – Between the Quant and Reasoning Section chose an easy section so that
mind can relax a little between these sections.

English

It remains a moderate section. And those who are not good at English, LIC AAO
EXAM gives you a benefit – the marks obtained in English section are not added in
the final marks. So you just have to clear the cutoff for the section. The cutoff can
expected as 10 – 14 marks. Only attempt 15-20 questions with accuracy.
Those who are good at English, you people also don’t go for more questions in
English, because no use of these marks. Just clear the cutoff.
If comprehension is story based, you can attempt it easily otherwise don’t waste
time and attempt the synonyms and antonyms only.
Expected questions are 1 reading comprehension (10 questions), parajumbles (5
questions), cloze test (10 questions), error finding (5 questions), error correcting (5
questions) and fillers (5 questions).

General Awareness Section

There are 30 questions of 2 marks each.
In LIC AAO EXAM, questions from current and static GK both are important.
Topics like country-capital, country-currency, census 2011, abbreviations, important
dates, thermal power plants, atomic power plants, national parks, sports, popular
dance forms, etc.
News related to RBI and LIC, recent appointments, any recent bills passed, the
recent budgets, scheme of union government, awards, recent summits, obituary,
etc.
Read our LIC capsule and Insurance capsule by clicking on these.

Computer Section

Questions from the topic such as basic computer, ms-word, ms-excel, internet,
important abbreviations, computer security related questions, networking, shortcut
keys, etc.
We have many quizzes on the site having important questions.
Computer pdf can be downloaded from the link. Click here

Reasoning Section

This section remains moderate because of puzzles and critical reasoning topics
Sometimes the puzzle can be very tricky too, so do not waste time on any
puzzle. Expected questions are:
Syllogism (5 questions)
Input/output (5 questions)
2 puzzles (5 questions each)
Inequalities (5 questions)
Critical reasoning (statement n assumptions, weak or strong argument, cause n
effect, etc) – 2 to 3 questions
Miscellaneous (blood relations, direction test, etc) – 2-3 questions

Quant Section

This section remains very calculative, so in your time management strategy give this
section more time, even more than reasoning section.
Expected questions in this section are
2 Data Interpretations (5 questions each)
Miscellaneous(partnership, profit/loss, SI/CI, averages, mixture n alligations, time
speed n distance, time n work, etc.) – 5 to 10 questions
Now we are left with topics – Number Series, Simplifications, Quadratic Equations n
Data Sufficiency. Rest questions can be from any of these topics like 5 number
series or 5 simplifications, etc.

Its your exam so make your own strategy which takes you to clear the exam in easy
way.
For accuracy, concentration is very important. Forget all the other things for that
120 minutes and only concentrate on solving questions. Accuracy will give you more
marks.

Do not forget to take the Admit Card with photograph affixed, Photo Identity Proof
in original and a photo-copy of it (Ration Card and E-Aadhar Card are not accepted).
