An Abbreviated Research Version of a Research Proposal for the ATMA

Purpose of the research

The common purpose is to know why that some students in 2SZR always absent their

classes and enjoy sleeping and playing computer game at their room. In defining the

boundary of this study, a careful review of the question areas led to the development of

the following research objective.

1. To identify what the factor that why students of 2SZR don’t like to come to the

classes, their reason not to study with other friends and approach to take to solve

this problem.

2. To see that environment factor like the classes cleanliness stage, the tools

provided in learning progress, the lecturer style on teaching students, friends

influence, information gathering and also the subject of the class.

3. To assess 2SZR students’ satisfaction and also their opinion about the learning

experience in the classes that must change so that they will enjoy study and gain

more knowledge in their classes.

4. To determine the thing that must be improve so that the 2SZR student is satisfied

with their classes and want to attend the classes.

Research design

The survey research technique that will be use is the basic research. The observation will

be done during the class’s hour of the 2SZR class to gather information. The chosen

student from the 2SZR will be given the questionnaire. They will answer the question

that been given to them and return back the questionnaire as soon as possible.

Did the ATMA provided enough tool in teaching programs and what is you opinion about

the staff in giving services?

The questionnaire will be give to the 2SZR student, this kind of question will ask the

factor that make the student don’t like to attend their classes . It also finds the weakness

of the services provided to the student of 2SZR and they will give the opinion to solve the

problems.

Sample design

A survey will be done to all students of the 2SZR. The attendant statistic will be made

and from the information the ratios can be made.

Data gathering

I will use the observation survey in the class of 2SZR to gain information during the class

session. The co-operation from some friend of the field research organization will help

with the interview and they will conduct the interview to get more data about this study.

Data processing and analysis

Standard editing and coding procedure will be utilized and simple tabulation and cross

tabulation will be utilized to analyze the data that have been getting.

Report preparation

The report will be prepare in two way, first one is a written report will be made and the

second one is oral presentation of the finding of the study by the research analyst.
