NARRATIVE REPORT OF BEST PRACTICES ON WORK IMMERSION

As pursuant to DepEd order in the national scheme, Masagana Senior High School benchmarked
work immersion practices from other school. To provide quality instruction, the department
spearheaded different events that will encourage different institution to take part in this annual
activity. The school distributed MOA to the companies that will accommodate the students’ need
in terms of internship. Most of the nearby businesses accepted the offer and provided positive
feedback.
Part of the program is the signing of contract that is both beneficial to the school and the institution.
Various seminars on job preparedness of the students. Also, the school made the initiative to
prepare the partner companies to accommodate the students in the course of work immersion.

NARRATIVE REPORT OF BEST PRACTICES ON SMEA

To prepare the school and the students, most especially the teachers, the agency piloted the SMEA.
In Masagana High School this is also implemented to uplift the quality of instruction to proper and
indepth monitoring of teachers performance. On a monthly and even weekly basis, the school head
enters the classroom of each grade level to check if the teachers employ the protocol of the
department.

After the first quarter, there is a great increase in terms of academic performance among students
its because their teachers are closely monitored not just by the principal but also their fellow
teachers. This will be practiced annually as a consensus among the teachers and the student body.
