PROJECT INSTRUCTION:

Your company is participating in an open tender for construction of 1 unit of Type A Shop Office Block for client
(THP Enstek Development Sdn. Bhd.). The following items must be provided for submitting the tender (your
company’s proposal) to the client:

(i) Company’s profile;

(ii) Project cost estimation using preliminary estimating techniques (floor area and volume methods);
(iii) Quantity measurement (taking off) for all items under work below lowest floor finish (WBLFF);
(iv) Build-up rate calculation of 1 m3 soil excavation (manually using hand);
(v) Build-up rate calculation for 1 m3 of selected concrete grade using concrete mixer;
(vi) Schedule of rate;
(vii) Bill of Quantity (BQ) for WBLFF;
(viii) Amount of proposed project price (contract price or contract sum);
(ix) Calculation of performance bond;
(x) Calculation of maximum advanced payment that your company intent to claim;
(xi) Calculation of liquidated ascertained damages (LAD) in case of the project delay;
(xii) FILA (Facts, Idea, Learning Issue, Action) table (example as attached);
(xiii) All references and resources used, and assumption made for item (i)-(xi).
