Traffic Problems

The set is based deep in the woods, restricting the possibility of cars being visible on set.
Furthermore, the set is very secluded meaning there is limited traffic around the area of
filming, reducing the risk of any traffic problems. If cars are heard from the road, it’s no
problem because we aren’t recording audio, and their won’t be and recorded audio in the
final project.

Local Conditions

The set is a woodland area, meaning the conditions there depend heavily on the weather, if
it rains the woods will be muddy and hard to shoot in, on the flip side, if its sunny the woods
will dry out and be easily accessible. The weather forecast for our proposed filming dates is
unavailable at the moment.

Intrusions

The set is an open space used by dog walkers and people, however the land itself is
extremely big, meaning the chances of coming across other people is unlikely, furthermore
we will be filming deep in the wooded areas and away from the trails and walk ways to
further avoid any intrusions. To avoid accidental intrusions from the public we will ensure
that we set up an area in the forest with people watching and making the public aware to
our production to stop them intruding.

Continuity

All filming for this scene will take place on one day, so as to reduce the risk of there being
any continuity errors.

Electricity/lighting issues/sound

There is no power or power sources on set, meaning all electrical devices will need to be
self-powered, in order to combat this we will ensure that we bring extra batteries in case we

run low on power, and if we desperately need it a generator to power the equipment. The
forest is quite thick, and does not let a lot of light in, meaning additional lighting will be
required on set.

Set dressing

All of the costumes in set will be provided by us, the set itself will be dressed to look like a
post-apocalyptic world, so we will bring our own props which we have also made at home
to dress the set to look more realistic.

Welfare

Parking/public access

There is a car park at the main entrance to the park, with a capacity to fit 35 cars. The park
can be easily accessed by a main road which runs out of cheddar gorge.
