Born in Amherst, Massachusetts, Emily Elizabeth Dickinson was the middle child of a

The process of surface irrigation can be described using four phases. As water is applied to the

Pumpkin meat is high in fiber, an unbeatable source of beta-carotene, and ever so out of season!

Ingredients: 2 cupsall-purpose flour; 1-1/4 cups pumpkin puree; 1-1/4 cups milk; 1/3 cup brown
sugar; 3 tbsp vegetable oil; 1-1/2 tsp baking powder; 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice; 1/2tsp baking

Instructions

 In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, pie spice, and salt. In
large bowl, stir together eggs and sugar. Stir in milk, pumpkin and oil. Add flour mixture
and stir just until smooth.

 Drop batter, a cup at a time, onto hot griddle. Cook pancakes until bubbles form on top
and bottoms are golden brown, about 21/2 minutes.
