Duties and Responsibilities
√ I was hired as Pre-Comm. supervisor. I performed the following Pre-Comm. Works as
 Follows:
1. Water Flushing: temporary spool connector/manifold connected fire hydrant, inlet per
P&ID mark up to higher elevation, remove F, C, V/F.V/F.T and provide temporary spool
provide wedge at outlet & thin plate/bolt loosen open drain & vent valve to remove air
then closed. Gradually open inlet valve at fire hydrant purpose to water flushing is to
remove dirt’s, debris clean pipe lines duration of 3 to 4 hrs. Depending length & size of
pipe line using plastic bowl to get sample from outlet to be witness by proponent
inspector.
2. Air Blowing: Just to change water hoses into air hoses change injection point purpose
of air blowing to dry pipe line to remove any traces of moisture/ condensate time
duration of 3 to 4 hrs. Using emery cloth, white paper to be witness by proponent
inspector.
3. Reinstatement: Tightening of bolts cross position using torque wrenches change
specified gaskets base on is drawing uniformity of bolts.
4. Steam Blowing: Required to provide silencer at the end point. Open its drain valve &
vent valve to remove air and condensate water. That may cause the hammering the
pipeline.
 Gradually open main steam valve then closed vent valve and drain valve per
observed steam came out or no traces of any water condensate. And at the same
time I’m also supervise the chemical loading and catalyst loading for some reactors
and drums for chemical. Together with the vendors specialist.

works as
 Follows:
