MILITARY DISCIPLINE – is the state of order & obedience among personnel in a military
organization.
MILITARY COURTESY – are the acts of politeness, civility, and respect that personnel in a
military organization accord to one another.
MILITARY LEADERSHIP – is the ability to influence others by directing them towards the
accomplishment of the mission
MILITARY SECRECY – What you see, what you hear, what you feel, when your leave, leave it
here!
MILITARY QUOTES – One for all, all for one.
-Discipline is the soul of an army. A soldier, an army, which loses its sense
of discipline ceases to be an army.
SALUTE – is the most important and the most common form of all military courtesies.
HONOR CODE – We the Cadet Officers of CL 01 – (Batch Year), does not lie, cheat, steal, nor
tolerate among us who do so.

11 GENERAL ORDERS (G.O.)

1. To take charge of this post and all government properties in view.


2. To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert, and observing everything
that takes place within sight or hearing.
3. To report all violations of the orders I am instructed to enforce.
4. To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guardhouse than my own.
5. To quit my post only when properly relieved.
6. To receive, obey, and pass, on the sentinel who relieves me, all orders from the commanding
officer, officer of the day, and officers, and non-commissioned officers of the guard only.
7. To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
8. To give the alarm in case of fire and disorder.
9. To call the commander of the guard in any case not covered by the instructions.
10. To salute all officers, all colors, and all standards not cased.
11. To be especially watchful at night and during the time of challenging, to challenge all persons
on or near my post, and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPANY FIRST SERGEANT


He is in charge with the orderliness of the company, which pertains to the duty details,
passes, and patrols.

PLATOON SERGEANT
He is responsible for the supervision of supply, distribution of ammunition, water, and
ration. Aside from being the assistant of the platoon leader, he keeps the platoon leader and the
company first sergeant informed on the status of personnel at all times. He assumes command
in the absence of the platoon leader.

SQUAD LEADER
He is responsible for the discipline, training, welfare, and control of men under him. He is
also directly responsible for the tactical employment of his squad.
