On Examination : Right side postauricular lymph nodes 2 in number

mobile, measures 1x1 and 0.5Cms.
Microscopy : Smeaars form lymphnode are highly cellular showing
polymorphic polpulation of lymphoid cells consisting
of mature lymphocytes, Centrocyts, centroblasts and
many tingible body macrophages. There is single ill
defined attempted granuloma formation and caseous
necrotic material in the background.

- No eviednce of malignent cells.

IMPRESSION : Right post auricular lymphnode- Necrotic
lymphadenitis.

Advice : Suggested PCR from FNAC material or biopsy and

montoux test to rule out Tubercular lymphadenitis
in view of caseous necrotic material.
