10/10/2017 Travel day (Italy to Kuwait)

Visual Inspection of installed equipment.

Check the level of Lube Oil, Coolant and Fuel. Inspection of electrical interconnection between the Deasel tank and Diesel pump - Control

Check the battery and refilling the battery (bank 1 & 2) by electrolyte - Diesel pum A

12/10/2017 Energize the control panel by 240V/440V. Energize the battery charger and preheating system. Disconnect the battery bank n°1 (diesel
pump B). Charge the battery by external charger due to low voltage.

Connect the battery bank n°1 – Diesel pump B.

Energize the control panel (battery 24Vdc). Preparation for first crank of diesel pump B.
Prime the engine by diesel. Crank the diesel pump – Diesel engine run 1500rpm. Oil pressure 6 bar.

The pump not running. Stop the engine and remove the Coupling protection cover. (The engine flange and pump flange of flexible coupling is
not bolted and not aligned).

Travel from Damietta to Al Shabab site.

Modification of DST 4602 Controller parameters in order to run in parallel with grid.
Carry out functional test:
11/09/2017 ON Load test with the grid (100% of nominal load)
Preliminary check and inspection of second EDG, preparation for first crank.
First crank and run EDG (from the gauge panel)
Start EDG in manual mode from the Local control Panel.

Carry out functional test:

12/09/2017 NO load test and simulation of Shutdown during NO Load test.
ON Load test with the grid (100% of nominal load) – with Pgesco and Owner representative

Carry out functional test and modification in order to provide additional protection in case of failure signal from under voltage relay (main
voltage presents and inhibit start) – requested by Pegaco.

Carry out the test after modifications (simulate remote and V3/V4 voltage signal missing – Q3 close and Bus voltage present)
EDG start in auto mode and perform the synchronizing before to close the Generator Breaker)

Carry out functional test and modification in order to provide cooling time after opening of Generator Circuit Breaker (in Auto mode – ON load
Test mode)

Protection relay setting and wiring modification in order to disable protection for 27 and 80U during the stopping EDG (NG 20 enable Input 1
and assigned the Block 1 to disable 27/80U during the stopping)

and assigned the Block 1 to disable 27/80U during the stopping)
