it was “three days of peace and
music”. this musical festival
took place on a 600-acre dairy
farm in New York. Close to
half a million people showed
up. there wasn't much violence
however a teen was
accidentally killed by a tractor.

throughout summer there are
several music festivals. Coachella
is the biggest musical festival that
takes place once a year for two
weekends.

The main drugs that were done was
marijuana and LSD

mission was to be peaceful
and love each other. They all

lifestyle based on:
- flamboyant clothes
- rock music
- drug use
- communal living

they wanted themselves and everyone
else to be free, fun of love and close o
nature.

of a regular society.

Many wanted to and choose to

leave home.

They then lived together in

places called communal livings
where they could live together.
